About the KBell Trainer Specialist program
In it’s purest form the Kettlebell is used in an internationally competition called Girevoy Sport (GS) or Kettlebell Sport. Success in GS events requires discipline, stamina and power.
The KBTS program teaches you to blend Girevoy Sport technique with athlete development principles to help you and your clients accomplish fitness goals, achieve weight-loss results or boost sport performance.
We call our system KBell Cross-Training.
KBTS is a trainer development program to help professionals in the performance and wellness industry master the technique progressions and coaching skills to consistently achieve results for their clients.

As a participant in the KBTS program you will

Preparing for the KBTS weekend
The KBTS program was originally designed with the needs of a professional fitness trainer in mind, who by default, tend to have an above average fitness level.
Our course is designed to produce instructors who can build up a Nation, this is not a boot camp program. However, each day is still 7-hours long, you are practicing to become a KBell Trainer Specialist and you must own it to give.
The course is taught in 3-parts to give you the power to select your own growth pace.
If fitness is not your concern but you’ve never used Kettlebells before, we recommend that you register early and review the material. Completing the preparatory exercises will improve your ability absorb information and ask better questions during the course.

Your Level 1 Kettlebell Trainer certification will be valid for 1-year from the date all written and practical tests were completed.
2. To earn your “Specialist” designation, the KBTS candidate must complete a Part-3 course with 1-year of completing their Level 1 requirement
The KBell Trainer Specialist certification will be valid for 2-years from the date all written and practical tests were completed. In order to renew the KBell Trainer Specialist Certification, you will need to do one of the following:
• Participate in any KBTA signature workshop
• Complete a Kettlebell training course from a recognized organization (i.e. IKFF, WKC, RKC)
• Lead a KBTA approved specialty workshop
3. All trainers and coaches will be encouraged to join the Affiliate program, where they will have access to specialty workshops, workout programs, articles and promotional materials designed to help the participant be successful.

(Pre-requisites: KBTS part 1 & 2 or Level 1 Kettlebell certification from a recognized organization)
Secrets will present collection the best and most powerful KBell combinations and movements to maximize power, performance core strength and dynamic flexibility.
As a training program this course represents a cumulative collection of over 10-years of work at workshops, certifications, training session with other seasoned trainers and research conducted across North America. Participants will achieve a new layer of understanding and application of Kettlebells through the study and practice of movement variations evolved from diverse disciplines for fitness, performance and rehab purposes.
The techniques you will learn in “Secrets of the Dragons Lair” will keep you on the cutting edge of this increasingly popular training discipline. Be prepared to discover:
• The massive power stored in alternating 2-KBell movements
• How to apply the practice of GS (Kettlebell Sport) technique and to your fitness and performance goals
• The art of KBell Juggling and the benefits of practicing these techniques

Overview of Part 3b – KBell Group Trainer
(Pre-requisites: KBTS part 1 & 2 or Level 1 Kettlebell certification from a recognized organization)
This course is designed to give you a system for teaching large group classes (10 – 20 participants) with Kettlebells. You will learn how to:
• Teach proper technique in a group setting
• Select correct exercises for people of different fitness levels
• Equally challenge people from different fitness levels
• Get the right weight into participant hands
• Build confidents and success for your participants
Our unique movement sequences make it easy for your clients to develop the confidence and core strength to be successful. You will practice the art of teaching KBell group classes and get a feeling for how to challenge participants of different fitness levels in the same workout.
All participants will practice organizing and teaching in our 3-signature class formations and receive a practice script they can use immediately.
